Langsett independent Film Festival 01/01/06
Mptye has curated this bi-annual-ish rural film festival since 2002. Held at the Waggon & Horses Inn in the Peak District National Park the festival attracts a diverse audience, rangeing from members of the Arts Council to local farmers. The film makers who submit their work are from an even more mixed background; we have seen films by 5 year olds and octogenarians, professionals, artists and amateurs, local and international, the funded and the unfundable.
