Highways
Agency - Government department responsible for development,
planning, and (possible) implementation of the A57/A628 bypass
scheme.
UK Commission for Integrated Transport - An independent
body advising the Government on integrated transport policy.
Has some interesting information about the future of rail
freight, public transport, and congestion charging.
Transport 2000 - Campaign group whose aim is to influence
government policy and promote sustainable transport solutions
(ie. not more road building!) Lots of information about transport
issues.
